USF-Auburn set for ESPN2

I was hoping for an afternoon game so i could bring the kids and the inlaws.

now it will probably be just me and the wife

I'm going to have to skip this game... late kickoff + logistical nightmare = I don't think so. Looks like it's time to move my travel eggs into the Pittsburgh basket at the end of the season.

I haven't really looked at the national schedule, but would think this would not be ... maybe for that week.

I don't care what the other games are, more of the nation will be watching USF football upset Auburn than normal and we'll be the talk on Sunday morning.

We will probably never play Auburn again in the next 10-20 years...we will be at Pitt in 2...this is a no-brainer.

Just think - 20 years from now, you will be able to say "Yeah, I was at that game...the one where we beat our first SEC team and showed America what USF can do."  That, in an of itself, is priceless.

It's really the only chance for 2 top 10 teams to meet in an out of conference game.

Other nonannual big matchups include Nebraska/USC; Tennessee/Cal; Miami/Oklahoma; FSU/Alabama; Notre Dame/Penn State

The big Non-BCS/BCS matchup will be played on the same day, but not time is set. TCU @ Texas will both be ranked in the top 15. I think they are getting a 3:30 game, unless TBS gets these rights for some reason.

USF/Auburn is a great matchup, it's just on the same day as the bolded matchups above, which kinda sucks.

Either way I'll be there, and you should be too.

And that's a shame.

It will be just like the Saints...before EVERY FRICKING NFL game, they would show a "montage" of Katrina after-effects.  Don't even tell me that those things weren't attempts to get more viewers.  It's horrid that TV channels will do it, but "hey, grief sells!"...
