Yeah, but no bars will be open, no time to drink with the Auburn fans, have to get up early to drive back home.

I would much rather a 7 PM kickoff =/

Guys, kickoff is 8:00 central time so if you're at the game it's only an hour later than our home games.

Guys, kickoff is 8:00 central time so if you're at the game it's only an hour later than our home games.

But if you're staying in Columbus, Georgia... and with traffic streaming out of Auburn...

The game will end at 11:30pm CST and we'll get back to our hotel at 2:30am EST.

(The good news is we can leave for the game at 6:30pm EST and get to the stadium around 7:30 CST).

WOOHOO! Now, everything is set. It is just going to be a long day with a painted face, wearing Dr. Seuss hat, etc.

Bring on the tigers!

Cox maybe healthy, but they don't have a consistent WRs, and our DEFENSE will be hungry for tiger tail! ;)

That is a very nice time slot.  Seems like the AU / UF game last year was in the same slot.   This game could be huge for national exposure.   Of course it will be even better after we pull the upset.   It is good to be a Bull!  8-)

It is a great time slot, except...ESPN has elected to run THE biggest out of conference game this year head to head with it a projected top 10 matchup between LSU and Virginia Tech kicks off at 9:15 on ESPN...Won't matter to me, I'll be in Auburn, but it does kill our chances of being the game the average fan will watch that evening.

As for everyone complaining about  the 9pm kick off sack up! Looks like its gonna be one of those mornings/days/nights/mornings

if your at a restaurant or bar, they are going to have both games on, fans will watch the more exciting game.  if our game is more exciting than the LSU vs Va Tech game, we will be fine with ratings.  plus you will have every Auburn and USF in the country thats not at the game watch the Bulls play the Tigers.  And I think our game has more of a draw to it, fans will want to see what we can do vs a big dog in the SEC.

First, Sports bars aren't counted in TV ratings.

Second, if you think USF/Auburn has more star power than the biggest out of conference game this season, the only top 10 out of conference matchup then you have to take those goggles off. To my personal interests yes. To the remainder of America, heck no, not over the VT/LSU game. Sorry.

If our game stays close and the LSU/VT game becomes a blowout it might change. However from an anticipatory perspective, we're gonna have to beat Auburn to get exposure that night.

And exactly how is it fair that Auburn gets to have 8 home games out of 12?
