The board meets this week and we'll be finalizing the package to Auburn.  As a member you also start earning priority points which you'll appreciate as an alum.

We have also taken trips to South Carolina in 04, to the Miami game in 05 and the Papa John's.com bowl this year.

There's more history than that, although the organization's name has changed!  I remember taking a bus trip to an ECU football game in 2002, to a So. Miss bball game in 2003, and meeting up with SBCers at a So. Miss football game in 2003.

i don't remember a football game for SBC to ECU, or a Southern Miss bball game, i do know that the first trip for SBC was to a UAB bball game, then a Southern Piss football game

Nope, there were trips before that!  SBC was first named the Student Athletic Association, and was organized in 2002.  The first trip I participated in was to ECU in the fall of 2002.  I don't know if there were any before that.  I still have my polo shirt in the closet from when I joined...

I wasn't part of it then, so that's why I didn't mention it.  I do know it was called SAA before the change and that they had various trips, but again, I wasn't part of it, so I didn't know where they went.

Regardless, joining is a good idea, so do it!

Mike is correct, the incepcion of SAA was 2002, I remember having lunch with Amabel when the idea was just formed to begin a student organizaton. We also attended 2 Conference USA Tournaments, 1 in Cincy and 1 in Louisville. The Cincy C-USA tourney, I believe was one of the first organized trips for students, That was the year we were voted "Harshest Fans" by other Conference USA schools.

Those original trips were memories that will never be forgotten.  2 C-USA road trips, Basketball Bus ride to Southern Miss, Basketball Bus ride to UAB, Football bus ride to ECU, Football bus ride to Southern Miss. I will ever be most appreciative to Amabel, Vicki, Eric and everyone else who made contributions and assisted the students at that time to go on these trips. The core group of us who went on those trips were & still are one of the most passionate USF fans out there.

That trip to the CUSA tourney in Louisville was a blast...

I went on the one to Southern Miss.  We stayed at the Beau Rivage hotel and casino in Biloxi.  It was really nice.  Now I am an alum and in the Bulls Club New Alumni.  Anyone out there looking for a trip that is a recent grad needs to check out the Bulls Club New Alumni!

Sbc is currently workingout all the details for the Auburn trip.  This is gonna be our best trip so far, already a ton of interest.

We are planning on a huge Marketing campaign for SBC to get the word out about how great this organization is.  Our goal is to get more members involved.  If anyone has any suggestions on things you may like to see us do please message me as we are always up for suggestions.
