In the 100 days to Bulls Football countdown, TheBullsPen.com is hosting discussion on players wearing the numbers 99 to 1.

Yesterday we were at 99 days until kickoff of the 2007 season and started a thread on the following players to proudly wear the Bulls #99:

John Brown..............................................2000

Tim Jones ..............................2002-2003, 2005

Riley, Julian ............................................2006

Today's number - 98 was worn by the following Bulls:

Brett Avery ......................................1997-1998

Devin Sanderson ......................................2000

Curtis Chance ..........................................2004

Harris, Aaron ...........................................2006

Please post your comments, thoughts and reflections on these Bulls and help countdown the days until kickoff vs. Elon in Raymond James Stadium on September 1, 2007.

Still gotta tip the hat to Avery being an inaugural season player.  He's the oldtimer so far in our countdown.

Sanderson was a good punter as I recall, and Chance had a lot of potential, but there was some problem(grades maybe). I dont remember Avery.

Avery was a ranging type DE that played well for this young BULL team.

We've always had very good punters, 4get what he changed his number to - we'll know in a few days.  8-)

I hate to say it like this, but....."Who's He"? And if you know your bball history, that was a common phrase from behind the backboard.  :)

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
