ECU did not really outnumber us...I would say that it was fairly even...they may have had more but i feel that we had the more animated crowd in anycase

I think its very disrespectful to put us in the PJ.com Bowl again. If they think that Pitt will have a better season than us, then they are doing crack. This is ridiculous.

I thought our numbers were closer to 10 thousand...?

We brought 6 thousand to Charlotte 2 years ago...this year was more...

The announced crowd was 32,300 something like that...we had to have brought about 10k or more...

10,000? No freaking way, there would have been an article or something about how well we traveled to such a crappy bowl.

We brougt a lil under 5,000 to Charlotte, and while I wasn't there last year, I heard teh number was very similar.

I would say 4500 to Charlotte and 6500 to Birmingham.  We were outnumbered by the purple pirates, but not too badly.

They must think Notre Dame will be 6-6. The only way I see them going to Toronto is if they're 6-6 while all the Big East teams projected to go to better bowls are 7-5 or better, meaning those bowls can't take the Irish. The Gator Bowl would pick a 7-5 or 8-4 Notre Dame team over a 9-3 or 10-2 Rutgers, for sure. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding the process.

Also, these predictions will mean nothing when we win the conference.

That would be awesome, but probably won't happen until we shake off the "teams that travel poorly" perception.

It's not just a perception, it's a fact.

Unless the Big 12 is unbelievably terrible this year, and Notre Dame is around 6-6, and there are no other Big East teams that could suffice the position. USF is NOT going to the Gator Bowl.

Sorry, they added the Big 12 exception for a reason and they will use it if it comes down to USF, Pitt, or any other BE team that isn't exactly known to travel well.

Unless USF goes 11-1, and doesn't get bcs slot, then I could definitely see us going to Jax.  They know we will bring a lot of fans the short drive to jax.

We don't bring a lot of fans the short drive to Raymond James Stadium.

You can bet that the Gator Bowl would not take USF.  They'll take Oklahoma or Texas or Nebraska before they take USF.
