I'll believe it when I see it.

Priority Points have very little bearing at this point in time...maybe in 10 years with an OCS, THEN they will mean something...

I assume they will use the point system to ration limited tickets for road games.

This is secondary news to the annual Miami rivalry.  It would be (very nice) icing on the cake.

You are correct.

However, they have "little bearing" because the points have never had to be used to this date.  Our supply has always outweighed our demand.

Hopefully, that will change.

it's a possibility, though I can say I talked with Notre Dame's associate athletic director who handles football scheduling about two weeks ago and there really hadn't been any progress. the initial plan for the three big east games each year is in the northeast, and notre dame is looking at off-site games in texas and florida, but hadn't talked with specific opponents when i'd checked in ...

Maybe my source is wrong but they seemed almost certain.

For a game against ND on the road you may hav all sotrs of people coming out of the woodwork for those seats.  I told my wife a long time ago that if this game ever happened that I would be there.

Nuke, I've heard it will be Florida/ND at RJS in 2011 or 12. Nothing solid.

I'd be at the game too...fa sho.

I loved beating their basketball team this past season at the Sun Dome.  We were outnumbered at least 2-1 in fans, and yet we still prevailed.

If we play at ND, all of us donors and season ticket holders will hear from relatives you don't even know you have.  The point system will definitely have to be used.

At RayJay, the upper deck will be totally sold to ND fans.  They come out of the woodwork to find tickets to away games and to get tickets from the visitor's allocation in South Bend.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
