Years back we thumped them in baseball and they stopped playing us.  They know the sleeping giant in Tampa is starting to wake up.

I just hate when a coach or AD tries to downplay the success of USF by saying stupid things like FSU's AD Hart said last year. When asked if FSU would ever play USF, Hart said there is no interest there because FSU already recruits well in the South Florida area when he **** well knows where USF is located. To me, that was a slap to the face of the USF program.

Reality check.  USF has done amazingly well in a very short time.  To beleive that USF is on the same level as FSU is silly.  FSU has two national championships, and had a stretch where they finished in the Top 5 over 10 years in a row.  Sure, they didn't have a great year last year.  What was USF's record in '05?  We hope USF finishes in the Top 25 this year, and can work towards the Top 10.  No one is downplaying the success of USF.  USF hasn't had enough success to be able to downplay it.

Maybe OOC, but the Big East was hands down tougher than the ACC was last season.

 They won't play us in anything else why should football be any diffrent.   They are still hacked off we beat them in basketball and kept them out up the tourney 10 years ago.  Bunch of whimps.

I have a deep respect for some parts of Bowden. Lets be serious here. His Sunday football show includes statements like "Ya, that number 78 is playing his heart out" Why? Because he cannot remember the kid's name.

It's no big deal.
