Shawn Sanford pitched 7 strong innings and Yuri Higgins finished the final two innings for another save as USF won the last regular game of the season 5-2.  Braulio Pardo had a couple hits and a couple of RBIs, and Joey Angelberger contributed two hits as well.  Addison Maruszak hit a homer early in the game to give the Bulls a two run cushion.

Big play of the game was in the fourth when Ty Taborelli hit a chopper up the middle with the bases loaded and two outs.  The SS and 2Bman collided and were out cold which allowed two USF players to score.  The 2 players were literally on the ground for about 10 minutes and were motionless.  Eventually they got up and were taken to University Hospital.

Great Win for the Bullsand got some help in the league as Villanova lost today, so we clinched the 5th seed in the Big East this year.  We'll play Pitt on Tuesday in Brooklyn.

Can I get a Go Bulls!?!

One of the guys went just to get X rays.  The other guy had some cuts and scrapes on his face (ear and mouth), so he was going to get to stitched up and X rays.  At least thats what my on the scenes reporter nephew found out.  I assume they had quite the headaches after what appeared to be concussions.

Go Bulls!!!! Thanks for a great season!!! Good luck in the BIG EAST TOURNY!!! Now, lets get these guys some upgrads for the stadium. I cant wait until we get the Red renovated to help the program out.

I also expect a handfull of transfers or so to be leaving the team. Hopefully the squad can stick together and build on this year.
