Big Game for USF today.  We need to somehow manage to get a win, and hope that both ND and Villanova lose today to get back to that 5th seed.  I'd much rather see us playing Pitt, who we beat twice earlier in the year, then ending up with a lower seed and playing one of the top  teams in our conference.

The top 3 teams are at another level compared to the rest of the league.  The Bulls have gone a combined 1-7 against Rutgers, Louisville and St. John's.  Hopefully Sanford can confuse the St. John's hitters today.  Here are the standings on the last day of play:

  BIG EAST Overall

*  St. John's 20 6 0 .769 39 14 0 .736

*  Rutgers 19 7 0 .731 35 18 0 .660
