I did notice that the posters on the Miami board still have the perception that USF=UCF.  I guess we will have to educate them on the field.

and to think last year our own local newspapers were calling us out saying we should play UCF and not think we are above them

Like I said before in this thread, I like the UM series much more than the UCF series, but I still think that UCF can become a really good series, just not right now. If they get into a BCS conference, then I can see playing them more often.  Right now it just makes sense that the UM series would be better than a UCF series, on all levels.

I agree fully about the UCF series... and there will come a time when the population growth of this state makes it plausible for a Big 5.  However; if UCF continues to mismanage their program, FIU or FAU may beat them to that punch.  I say we continue to schedule BCS teams and leave the UCF game to simmer for a bit.

I think thats exactly whats happenning we will play UCF later on down the line but it will be on/off again like we do with FAU and FIU.

The only way that will change if the BCS sticks around and UCF gets into it.

Regarding BE premier games ... will be glad also when we have conference games that the nation will want to see ... last year was a step in that direction.

I'm used to seeing this on other message boards(the talking down of USF) so anymore I dont care. we will see what happens in '08. they are so happy with Randy Shannon as head coach...wasnt he like the 5th choice and the job was offered to Schiano who turned it down for Rutgers...wasnt there also rumors of Leavitt there....UM can kiss my ass..I have always hated them

Look how far we jumped in national perception after this past season ... expecting greater leaps in the next few years.
