I've talked with Natalie at Hooters-South and she would be helpful ... it's kinda boxed in different areas(not as open as WingHouse) ... could work on reserving the back area that's by the rear entrance and new patio area. The only problem is that they don't have a big screen back there. Actually, their TV situation is not the best.

How many have been attending ? I seem to remember about 15-20. Of those attending, how many were "family" that may not like a WingHouse/Hooters style ? Don't want to exclude any, but also have to do what is best for the masses.

I may check out Champ's Sports bar further south of WingHouse, anyone been there since they moved to the new location ?

We've got time, but also want to start planting seeds.

Service is very slow at Champs.

Haven't tried Champs since it moved.

Family venue is an important item.

Had a high attendance of 15-18 once.  But dropped to 6-7 most of the time.

maybe with board support like y'all we can make it a "happening"

I plan on making all, except F?U (will be at the game).

Since we'd be there lounging for 3 hours, I'm not too concerned about service ... mainly that they allow us a nice venue and respect our game as the "priority".

Service is an important element for me, the drinks should be cold and the food should be hot and arrive at a reasonable time.

If there is a UF game on, don't even count on WingHouse.  The GAYTurd fans reserve tables 2-3 hours before game time.

My brother and I hit WingHouse after the USF/Cuse game last season when we got back to Lakeland.  We walked in, were asked if we were watching the UF game with a "party", and when we said "no", we were told "there's no chance at a table in the next four hours...sorry!".

We went to Beef's instead (in the Lake Miriam plaza), and they not only had lots of space, but colder beer and less rednecks.
