Who one here will plan on attending Lakeland area Football Watch Parties ?

North or South Lakeland ?

We (Polk Alumni) held some the past few years and will try to plan again this year.

Will start looking for a permanent site.  We have floated from place to place the past couple of years.  Ideas/contacts would be appreciated.

South Side seemed to produce the best turnouts.

It's always a problem to find out in advance which of the games will be televised to be able to get the word out.  But if we get a consistant location and we can get everyone to come here to check, maybe we can grow the attendance.

The guys at BedRock's seem to accomodate us pretty good for the Miami game in 2005.

I have a group of friends that hit the place on Wednesday's night regularly ... I'm just sometimes.

They have good food also.

Seems a few years back we had them at the bar downtown ... 4 get the name - across from Molly's. The Gym ? And it's centrally located. Food seemed "okay" as long as you don't get the nacho kit

Bedrock is fine, except for parking, the limited space makes it difficult to take a family there.

You can pretty much plan on every road game being televised.  As long as the place has the ESPN Gameplan they should be able to get it one way or another.

Yes the Gym was used in 2004 with limited success.

Bedrocks work a few times in 2005, but twice they would not start the USF game till the UF game ended.  BUt we could try again.

Last year was really hit and miss, had one game at my house.  4-5 showed up.

New Winghouse may be a place to try.

I'll start trying to make some contacts next week.
