Miami (OH) was still top 10 in one of the polls. They went 12-1 and lost only to Iowa.

They were pretty good and probably could have hung with most teams in the country by the end of the season. (Roethlisberger was their QB)

Miami of Ohio that year finished the season wooping Louisville who had gotten beat down early in the season by...you guessed it USF.

OK we didn't exactly beat down Louisville it was a come from behind victory in overtime with multiple moments of goal line drama.

lol...I think this poll is a little messed up.  But, hey, its in our favor!!! Any poll that has us above florida is a GREAT POLL!!!

Did they beat the same UL team that basically found out Coach John L Smith had accepted the Michigan State job at halftime?  It appeared to me when I was watching that game that they officially quit at the start of the third quarter.  Nice season and all, but not Top 10 worthy in my book.

Yeah, but Roethlisberger was freaking good.  I thought Miami had the better team, easily.
