IMO, I think this is it for the 2007 recruiting class...

Stan Heath has found a backup center to help Kentrell Gransberry next season.

With the end of the spring signing period nearing, Heath got an oral commitment Monday from Mobolaji "B.J." Ajayi, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound center from Nigeria who played last season at Palm Beach Community College.

---------------------

He remindds me of Gerrick Morris. This is helpful in that Gransberry can sit for a little bit.

Let's say that the roster is complete. Here's how I see it:

PG: Howard (Bozeman/Dominque Jones)

G:  Verdejo (Hollmes/Curry)

F: Saaka (Chin)

F: Williams (Ajayi/Chin)

C: Gransberry (Ajayi)

Then, again, we could see a bunch of guards on the floor.

18 games in the Big East? Hmmm...  :P

[sorry, I added the extra letters to get rid of the new double line]

We need 10-12 solid minutes per game from him and we need 1 other big body to play at the 4.

Right now I see a 3 guard line up with a 1 SF and 1 C.

We do not have a PF on our roster.  Williams.....well, I'll be nice and stop writing.

I sure hope not. I hope Coach uses at least 1 of the 2 remaining scholarships.

I just think that the talent that is left is not very good.  Keep the 2 that we have now... then we'll have 3 scholarships to give next year using CSH’s recruiting ability for a FULL year.  One scholarship has been given out already (for next year).

I'm perfectly fine with saving the other 2.  We added front court depth.  If we could get one more quality front court player, then great... if not, let Stan work his magic with a full class of available players and 3 scholarships and bring in some 4 or 5 star players next season.

hold the scholies for next year...not much is expected this year

you will have 3 scholies to find the "difference maker" player that could

establish us in the BE for some time.

Heath said today he intends to use one more in the next few weeks, then carry over the other so he has two for next season ...
