Auburn Game Hotel Room?

I was looking on Orbitz today for hotel reservations for the Auburn game... none of the 15 hotels they have listed have vacancies that weekend?  Is it Parent's Day weekend or something?  Anyone else having this problem?  

It looks like there are plenty of rooms in Montgomery or Columbus (Ga that is).

Auburn is such a small town that most hotels have the same groups staying there game after game year after year...

I'd even say the team hotel won't have many - if any - extra rooms for USF fans...

The Bull Backers, as of now, are saying in Columbus, Georgia... about an hour away.

I've got two nights at a Days Inn in Opelika (10 minutes from the stadium) for 90 bucks a night.

Brother before you drop a buck, read some reviews of this hotel... Goggle days inn opelika... I did and it is ranked #3 out of 12 in that area, and it seems pretty bad... Here's one review..“Part of the problem was my own, in that this is the first time I have used the method of going with the price instead of making a bid. My wife and I have a rule when we travel that if the motel is such that you have to wear your socks (don't laugh), we shouldn't be there. Well, I would have put on boots for this one. The cover on the sheet was just unreal. The toilet seat had been painted. This is just not up to your standards. If I could have gotten out of paying, I would have gone to Motel 6 - it surely would have been better.â€Â

North Columbus at the Hampton is where I will be.. pretty much the same cost..

Not sure if any of you have Rewards Points for Marriott hotels, but the Fairfield Inn & Suites is a Category 1 hotel.  You can stay 2 nights there for 14,000 points, which is nothing.
