Coach JL stopped by our local Beef's on Hillsborough Ave. a couple of weeks ago for lunch. Started a conversation with the manager and showed up a few days later with an autographed helmet.

I have a BULL'S COUNTRY banner to donate for the wall but would love to have more. Any ideas?

Not a clue! But, Mike Gray, the manager, couldn't stop talking about what a down to earth, nice guy he was. And then to come back with the helmet just set the whole thing in motion.

We held parties there last year and will again this year. Now all we need is someone that can't make Auburn, FAU or the bowl game to help with the party, 'cause we'll be at those games.

Sounds great... I'll have to check out that Beef's and show some support!

Also, I noticed that the Buffalo Wild Wings in Brandon has all kinds of collegiate  flags (including UCF) but are lacking USF. It was a sad sight.

Also, I noticed that the Buffalo Wild Wings in Brandon has all kinds of collegiate  flags (including UCF) but are lacking USF. It was a sad sight.

EcoNerd, if you noticed this, then you have to ask for the manager and see whats up.  I'm sure they'll put a USF flag up if you get one for them.  See Mutt's post about who to contact.  No way a UCF flag should be up in the Tampa area.

Nerd -- Buffalo Wild Wings has a USF flag. It's over top of the "to go" area just as you come in the door. Granted, that's still not much considering this is "our town" and they have an equal amount of stuff from other teams.

I have a USF banner Im thinking about donating to Old Chicago Pizza in Brandon too.

Actually the UCF alumni base is increasing rapidly in the Tampa Bay area....when I went to UCF about 5 years ago, less than 10 of my high school classmates joined me but the class of 06 had over 100 kids go to UCF. Brandon is not "Bull Country", it's full of mostly families w/ alliances to Gators, noles, knights, bulls, canes, etc so good for BW3s for putting it up ;D
