Sorry if this has already been addressed - but is there any way to make the content link stuff disappear? It's actually very annoying. I tend to not visit websites that have this feature.

I believe Bulliever asked for feedback in this thread; why attack everyone that gives their opinion when it differs with  yours. I donated and will donate more and still find it annoying. Is there a dollar amount where this will go away? or where I can state my opinion without others telling me why I am wrong on this subject.

I find it FUNNY that some make an opinion and when somebody retorts with "their" opinion, it's considered an "attack"  : By this reasoning, did you attack Bulliever with your comments ?

Bulliever has made a lifetime commitment to this site FOR ALL BULL Fans . . . he has given time(along with many on here) and money to make this a great site. I don't have a worry about this site EVER expiring.

It's about a two week period required to gear ads appropriately.  In the interim I have made two changes

1)  Changed the link to traditional blue so the reader knows it is an ad link and not a TBP board link.

2)  Changed the code so that the ad, if clicked, opens in a new window so the reader does not have to leave the TBP.com board page.

I appreciate the feedback and by the end of next week I'll look at the stats and see if this is a viable resource for the board.

i dont find it annoying at all i dont even pay any attention to it,  i will definitely never use the ads.  Is this making the site run about a half second slower or is that MY computer?

I think so. When I refresh or open a new thread, etc.... I can't scroll down (or up) without the screen hesitating for a second before I can scroll up and down without a problem.

If I’m listening to a CD on my computer, the song gets interrupted for that second or two when I refresh the tbp.com page or open up a new thread.

During that second or two, the links are not shown.  Once they appear, then I have no problems with the CD or the “scrolling†issue.

Annoying, yes… but whatever keeps this board running.
