It is slightly annoying but so are some posters .... and at least this little annoyance would generate revenue.

And it's easy to avoid moving your cursor over the words.

What browser are you guys using?  I use Firefox and haven't seen any double underlined words.

If you use AdBlock Plus it's possible you blocked the scripts and images already...

I would recommend that the color be other than green.  Something that stands out a little better would be easier to ignore, IMO.  Red, maybe.  Orange, blue.

I don't see where it is intrusive or annoying.  If it helps the site, keep it.  If there is no trail of revenue generated by it after a few months, then get rid of it.  And Kyle, there has always been a way to donate on here but I don't think regulars do it every month.
