E.T., I think you come up with some great ideas, but Tamplona just does not sound good to me.  Like some have said, we have enough trouble getting people to realize we are located in Tampa.

Plus if you say "Tamplona" out loud, it sounds like "Pamplona" ...

I've got to agree with Rezz, most people don't know the reference at all.  

And also it sounds like a really soft word, like a new brand of feminine products or some Cirque du Soleil show.  

I really think our Bulls deserve better.

I have always like the Tamplona!

Hopefully someone in the media will work it into their column/report and the name will start to catch on.

And I would like to see it on the Big Screen at Leavitt Field ... "Welcome to Tamplona" or billboards on the Interstates heading into Tamplona.

I personally plan to "market" it more this season.

I will try to find that original post . . . don't remember to be honest, except that I loved it  8-)

And I do take credit for the mention of USF using the intro we now use. Although I wanted a stampeding BULL running over the actual team mascots.
