GT Pounding Us Again

It's scary to think about the difference in talent, when you consider GA Tech has the fifth best record in the ACC. Ouch!

ACC is a very good baseball conference.

Some teams like GT are loaded everywhere...and many have a great track record of MLB All-Stars from their collegiate rosters doesn't hurt recruiting either...(along with some great facilities).

Back to OUR baseball team. The team seems to be in a rebuilding year, or at least trying to find some ground with a new coach. They started the year off very good and powerful and it fooled a lot people. We should win 30 games this yeah which is progress and next years team should be that much better hopfully bringing in some impact freshman (pitchers).

Lelo is the best hing that could happen to the program right now, he got fans interested and is building this team up for some great success in the future. Just like much of life, it's an inside out job and he's doing it...it's getting done whether our last 10 games directly show it or not.

We are in for some great seasons as long as CLP is still there. Oh and Tino's the sh!t.

I agree with you that the future is very bright for our BaseBulls. Our biggest area for improvement going into next year is pitching. We are really only four deep in pitching right now, when we need to be 7-8 deep. I hope some of the freshemn we have coming in, or some of the freshmen on redshirt this year can be effective right away. If so, then I think we could be in the top four of the BE next year. I think we are still two years away from having enough players to compete for a BE title. We are a little behind the top three(SJU,RU,UL) right now in overall talent level.   Go Bulls!!
