The man turned down approximately 40K more in salary and a chance to coach in the Big East, not to mention living in Tampa.

I see this as a positive for USF: We don't need anyone who can't step up to the plate and grab a great opportunity.

Best of luck to him but USF CAN AND WILL DO BETTER.

That remark is absurd. Clearly he'll get opportunities. We don't know the factors that went into his decision, maybe he's talking to other jobs, maybe he doesn't like the coaching staff, etc.

And the living in Tampa thing? No everyone is a fan of the city and I believe he might be looking to move back home.

Who knows! While to US on the outside it looks like a wonderful opportunity, what makes you believe it was wonderful from his vantage.

Whatever his reasons, I'm neither offended or upset. Best of luck to him.
