I tend to agree with this statement but couldn't it be even better if it was ON CAMPUS?

Recruits like playing on a pro quality field. Would an OCS attrack more fans? My guess is no. Centrally located RJS will draw more alumnae and Tampa fans. That's why the Sun Dome doesn't get many fans from central or southern Tampa Bay.

Yes and No.

It's a paradox. The atmosphere is created by the fans but the surroundings have a lot to do with it too. I am perfectly fine with RJS. It's in a good location, nice tailgating and amenities galor. What I don't like is lack of bulls paraphernalia. There is nothing that says THIS IS OUR HOUSE outside of our physical fan base. The better the decor, the more into it the fans will be. The more into it the fans will be, the more willing our Athletics Dept will be to pony up the cash to decorate the place.

I as agree and Disagree the stadium is a great place to catch a game but Tailgating AT the stadium is a ***** you cant have your tent to more than 3 feet from the end of your car you can’t throw a football. Now on to customer service ...... it $ucks the people that work at the stadium and the parking lots are complete @sses. I remember a TSA employee giving a 4 year old boy a "tailgating rules" card and yelling at him after he saw him running around tossing a football. I was like give me a freaking break the kid is what about 4. The guy started to give me crap I told him exactly what I thought about him like the chicken spit he was the guy left. Then the father of the child came over I thought his father was going to kill that guy. And do I need to bring out the whole Lville game issue. I have many more stories I could tell you but I am not one for long posts.  IMO the sooner we get our own stadium the better. Death to The Glazers and the TSA

I think tailgating at RJS is awesome. You just have to find the right lots. There are more than enough private lots surrounding the stadium if you need a place to throw the football. Just drive around Himes Ave before the first game next year and find a private lot suitable for your needs. You will love it!

You've never seen someone break a rule before?    Just because they weren't caught doesn't mean it is allowed.
