I wonder how many of the people complaining about the coverage are paid subscribers to the St Pete Times.

I wonder how many more subscribers the St. Pete Times would have if they had more USF coverage.

My guess would be very few.   Are you a subscriber?  I am and I think USF athletics gets decent coverage especially since some people in the AD aren't exactly media friendly.

No, I'm not a subscriber.  Why would I be?  I have to go to the infernet(blogs) to get any decent USF news.

I'm glad you feel you are getting "decent" coverage, though, some people want more than that.  To each his own, I guess.

I live in Louisiana, so my response is solely based on reviewing the information posted on their websites, and there is a clear difference between the two.  The St. Pete Times beats out the Trib on average in terms of coverage.  In fact, it used to be different, and has shifted since Greg Auman became the Times' USF beat reporter.  Since then, the Times has dramatically increased their coverage of USF.
