i dont think auburn gives a hoot about WV, a team that hasnt beaten a decent OC team in the regular season when it mattered

WVU did beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl two years ago, basically in Georgia's backyard since the game was moved to Georgia because of Katrina.

I don't blame them for overlooking us as fans often do.

Until we show up and beat ANY SEC team, why should any of them fear USF at all?

You have to earn respect. So far-- we are not getting the job done with the SEC as a whole. Their average fan probably stills confuses us with UCF.  That is life-- and when it comes to SEC football, from what I have seen at least-- the focus is on their own league almost completely. Winning the SEC championship means more to them than anything, only surpassed by beating Bama.

^^ That said-- I think we have a chance to win. It is not impossible but it is going to take a great effort. Our odds are not very good imo-- sad but true. THat isn't to say I don't believe in USF. It is only a realistic viewpoint of what this game entails. If we win-- our world changes dramatically overnight.

I fully expect a dog fight with Auburn.  60 minutes of all out USF football will be required in order for us to take the win.  Do we have the ability.....YES.  Will we bring our "A" Game?    We better!

As stated above, although many Auburn fans take us lightly, the coaching staff sure as heck won't.   The team will have to work hard during the pre-season, and not let up until the end of our last game in December.

I am extremely excited for September to come.  I believe the Auburn game will give us a good indication of where we are.

GO BULLS!!!!!!!

I am expecting us to win ... of course, but if we lose - it will be because we overlooked them  8-)

It will be interesting with K-St for their first game.

Go BULLS !!!

Kansas State has a legitimate shot at beating Auburn first, where is that game? Replacing 4 o-lineman is huge i dont care how many stars their backups have. KSU qb Prince(i think)is a playmaker also, Auburn could come into our game 0-1 and pissed off.

Ahh yeah, I'm sure that Vandy or two Mississippi teams would like right past us  ::)

Honestly Mike, your love of all things SEC is a little transparent sometimes

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
