Four USF Athletic Teams Earn NCAA Public Recognition for APR Score

TAMPA, Fla. (April 30, 2007) – The USF men’s cross country and golf teams and the women’s golf and softball teams have earned public recognition from the NCAA for having a multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) among the top 10% of all squads in their respective sports.

Multi-year APR scores for all 6,110 Division I sports teams, including the teams receiving public recognition awards, will be announced Wednesday, May 2. The announcement also will include immediate and historical penalties for low-performing teams.

Thats good, basketball is the onl sport that really scares me at this point.

I think we'll be fine come wednesday.
