What are the numbers after you factor in a 8 team league and number of graduating seniors?  not that I really care, but is it that different?  The Bulls for one didn't have many seniors this time around...I would think that bodes well.

Someone should send him a roster of the BE teams.  Maybe a little background research and he'd actually have an understanding that most of the stars in the BE were underclassmen and actually chose to return for their Senior and in most cases only their Junior years.

Geez, how do these guys get jobs.  Let's see.  Brohm, Urrutia, Douglas from UL all chose to come back for their SR years.  White and Slaton, Wow, only going to be Jrs this year.  Ray Rice only going to be a JR.  Grothe only going to be a Sophomore.  What a moron!!!! If he had any brains or an original thought in his head his story should be about how scary and explosive the young guys in the Big East are and that all these teams did great in the bowl games with most of the league's stars still having eligibility left.

Really the only big names that came out this year were Bush, Reveis (both could have stayed another year if they chose), HB Blades, and Leonard (Not sure if Snake is considered a big name outside the BE).  The rest of the stars of the big names came back.  Three of the top Heisman candidates will be in the BE this year.  Brohm, Slaton and Rice.  There's your story!

he's got a huge bias against the BE.

It's one thing to have a bias for something, but another to have it against something.

It closes the mind and prevents objectively covering a sport much more so than being a bias fan. He is unwilling to even change his mind therefore cutting off all logic. He always harps on how much he'll admit when he is wrong but his hate goes too deep for that. There will never be any reasoning with him if you call because he doesn't let people finish unless they agree or he'll disconnect them so he can get his point across.

I listen to him but comletely dismiss his college football talks.

He would probably put the Big East behind C-USA out of spite

He will never know how deep the Big East is simply because he lets him hate cloud his research and reporting. He will forever write off the BE before it's even a thought. It's a no win situation, kinda like UCF athletics
