Nicholas already Falcons starter!

Ok so only for the pre-season, but hey still pretty cool to hear this on the same day he is drafted.

That is a curious declaration by the Falcons. Why would they give a mid-round draft choice more leverage to negoticiate a better deal by saying that he is penciled in as a starter?

That could be taken by his agent to mean that Snake is worthy of receiving first day money.

Hopefully, Nicholas will sign a contract ASAP and fortify himself as a starter even if the starter comes back or if the Falcon bring in a veteran.

Needless to say, Snake has a golden opportunity to make a splash during his rookie year.

No doubt in my mind that Nicholas is going to be a starting NFL LB...

Hopefully he uses the Demorrio Williams injury to get more $$ from the Falgoons.

Falcons 0-16 season.

the falcons arent crazy enough to let this injury change the contract money they would give to SN.  they will just simply tell him that he has a shot at playing time and if he doesnt take that deal he can hold out and they will get someone thru free agency or waiver wire.

he will get 4th round money, he was not drafted high enough to play hard ball, hopefully he plays out his first contract and then hits the lotto.
