How about St. Louis? I didn't think he was that far behind Nicholas as a linebacker.

...yea for real!!! Whats the deal?  I'm beginning to think that our National Rep/history/lack of big time coverage is hurting some of our players for getting into the NFL.  What the Hell...we have some FINE players out there...I'm sure they could play at the NFL level.  Anyone agree?!?!!?

The free agent time we are entering now is always the part I find most entertaining.  The draft usually happens as expected, except for the year we went back-to-back-to-back.  It's always interesting to me who gets a free agent deal...and a tryout.

St. Louis is good, but he's got a lot of work to do before he's a staple on a NFL roster. He might get a look, but I seriously doubt (and this is not a rip into him) that he's NFL material.

Maybe he'll get his due, but he wasn't even listed on Scouts.Inc. player analysis while Julmiste and Thed Watson were; which means he probably didn't get very many looks from NFL teams.

I wish him and all of our guys the best of luck!

USF didn't have very many graduating seniors to begin with, and they were all recruited in 2002-03 before they found out the program was moving up to a BCS conference. This year is the last group of C-USA guys.

Future recruiting classes will be of higher quality, therefore more guys getting NFL draft consideration.

how bout those guys that get drafted from D-AA schools, or D-2 or D-3 schools?  they are less talented than our players but yet you always here about a guy from one of those schools getting drafted.  and also mid-majors get a lot of people drafted, Hawaii had at least three drafted on day one this year.  so recruiting C-USA talent or BCS conference talent is a bs excuse.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
