If the NFL does look at Pat Julmiste, it would have to be for him playing another position besides QB. I think PJ has a better chance being a power RB for short yard situations for an NFL team.

Snake is the man.

P.S. Did you guys see that Pat Julmiste worked out with the Bucs last week?  I wish him luck!!!

As what?   I love the kid and I think his leadership and football knowledge is good enough to be a coach one day.. but, as a player.......

The nfl has a rule that a team can work out any player that resides in the teams city. The bucs worked out guys from usf and guys from the tampa area who went out of town for college. As long as players provide their own transportation it does not count against the maximum number of players they can workout prior to the draft. I assume they will always invite usf seniors to workout. Does not cost them anything and it looks good from a pr perspective, and they might find any under the radar guy (Randolph?)

I like PJ.  I really do.

I sat next to his mom and brother at the PJ.com bowl.

Coaching edge

Stephen Nicholas turned down scholarship offers from Georgia and Syracuse to play at South Florida. "It was very exciting to create and be a part of the program's history," Nicholas said. South Florida has been playing football since 1997 and has been a Division I-A school only since 2001. But the school was an easy sell for Nicholas because of linebackers coach Wally Burnham. "He coached Derrick Brooks at Florida State," Nicholas said, "and I've modeled my game after Derrick Brooks. He won me over by coaching him." Nicholas set a school record with 45 starts and finished second all time in tackles with 326.

Like it's a big deal he chose USF over Syracuse.  We're far better than Syracuse hands down.

I think the Syracuse named was dropped because they probably offered him lots of $$$.

THE BEST OF LUCK to ALL of OUR SENIOR FOOTBULLS!!!

Any word on Randolph in the draft, or with anyone?

Yeah, we beat up on Syracuse now but Georgia and Syracuse have tradition that USF does not yet. That is worthy of noting that he chose USF over those schools, and at the time he was being recruited, I believe UGA ans Cuse were pretty good in football. I respect him so much for making a choice on a school that wasn't established yet in football. He wanted to be apart of the beginning of a program. That is amazing.
