If he does it will be very late. At 6'8/9" and 270/280 the measurements will kill him.

I liken him to Big Baby (projected second rounder) and Udonis Haslem (undrafted) both which played for Final Four teams.

He could impress next year and make a move, but size does play a big role.

www.NBADraft.net has their2008 early projections out.

One of the Big East's and the NCAA's leading rebounders...

YES.

PS: His size won't hurt his chances either.

I am just not sure. Big Baby is very similar in size and stature. Averaged similar stats. Led his team to a Final Four and he's slated as a 2nd rounder because he's too short.

If KG can pick it up defensively (where he is a lil weak) I think he can work his way into a mid to late 2nd rounder. But at his size, the NBA really doesn't take chances.

A lot will depend on this year.  But I think his his big size and lack of explosive athletic ability will keep him out of the draft, IMO.  You usually need to be a superior athlete to make it in the nba (like a solomon jones)

To use Joe'e example, Big Baby was projected 1st round last year and even ranked before Tyrus Thomas at the beginning of the year.  But with that much size, weight wise, and only being 6'8 or so does not help, same with kentrell.  But there are always exceptions, like recently Craig Smith from BC, very short for his position but is playing well.  And of course Sir Charles Barkley.  We shall see.

He'll be a PF in the NBA... YES he will get drafted.

His instinct and offensive aggressiveness are something teams will covet.

As long as he has a good to great year and stays healthy, I have no doubt he'll go, late first round, to early 2nd, similar place to Sol.

Side note..  NBA loves rebounding.  If you can rebound like KG can at 6'8, you can make an NBA roster.  The league is full of players that can score at will, but not many can rebound the way KG can.  He is Ben Wallace with less defense and MUCH more offense.

As someone said, if his defense gets better in the post... his stock will soar
