That series with Rutgers really hurt us.  We are 9-9 in Conference right now and falling fast.  Ever since the Sunday game against West Virginia we are 1-6 against Big East teams.  We lost the West Virginia game, then 2 out of 3 against Villanova, and now got swept at home to Rutgers.  We need to stop the bleeding quick with UCF tomorrow and then we have a HUGE SERIES with 2nd place Louisville.

C'mon Bulls, get it together!

I checked in here to see how we fared over the weekend.  Swept?  Ouch, that really does hurt.  Hopefully they can pull it together and make a run out of it.  As long as they move forward this year which it appears they are doing, you can call the season a success and a step in the right direction.  Especially with all the young guys on this team to build around and not to mention we should see some good recruits start to filter in here along with transfers like Diaz.

yep, this weekend pretty much ended any chance to make it to the NCAAs.

Yep, while this weekend hurt our at large chances, I wouldn't say it killed us.  We have some big series in conference left and can turn some heads with our remaining out of conference games versus Georgia Tech and Stetson.  And with our starting pitching, all we need is one great weekend in Brooklyn and we're in.  It can be done, but it won't be easy.
