Butts in seats...

JUST WIN!!!

Exactly ... Fans in the stands and the Bulls on the field are the only two components really needed for atmosphere...

true-- and as that number grows, USF coffers will grow allowing them to add more items to the gameday atmosphere. And maybe give us more clout with th TSA since we will also be a better source of income. Income streams are leverage

BINGO

The city (Pittsburgh) paid about 160M to build the stadium the team about 70M; The Steelers actually played in Pitts stadium for a while back before 3 rivers so they have a long relationship. Tampa paid 168M for Raymond James. As the relationship continues the Bulls will get more stuff I believe

If we win and get national exposure (BCS bowls)...then the TSA will have more pressure to help us out. Until then...any chance we can get some horns on the pirate ship?  :D

Bulls need to win, and we need to get butts in the seat.  Then the Alumni can do subtile things to pressure the TSA.  That will bring about a change. Maybe the TSA wants USF to get more popular and draw larger crowds, because it gives them a card to hold over the Bucs

this town is built around the bucs, the stadium was in the works before usf even had a football team, quit crying

I'm not one of those who are crying-- but you have to admit that the whole Community Investment Tax which paid for th stadium tends to make the citizens think-- yeah-- that's our stadium. Only some crafty lawyering by the Bucs did an end around to that. I often wonder what would have happened if the Bucs threats went unanswered and they indeed moved to Orlando or even LA. The new stadium would probably never happen-- but USF would have been the only game in town and have Tampa Stadium all to themselves-- and that's not so bad really. Pretty sure the old Sombrero was identical to the stadum Memphis uses.

Anyway-- my point is simply this, the Bulls do deserve some more attention from the TSA. I imagine we will get that attention once we start selling out RJS someday (or atleast filling most of it).

more like bad negotiating on part of government officials

Exactly! . . . but I also think that when we have larger crowds on a consistant level, we will start plans for an OCS.

I don't see anything changing for FootBULL games with RayJay. Just need more fans wearing green.

Go BULLS !!!  :GoBulls

maybe they will-- for my money though, renting a state of the art stadium vs. building a smaller, so-so type facility is a downgrade that will be more expensive. We play 6 or 7 games at home a year. The OCS needs to be maintained all year long. Eventually I'd like to see one but only after we have gotten our other facilities (baseball, dining facilities, SunDome improvements, softball etc) improved drastically and pay off things like the Ahtletic facility. It might still be the same timeframe of course anyway. A true homefield would be a luxury for our young program.

I may be in the minority on that viewpoint but I can look past the Bucs stuff all over the stadium and focus on the USF stuff instead.
