The University of Pittsburgh Panthers football team also plays at Heinz Field. The two teams have separate locker rooms, but share the training rooms, showers and bathrooms.

On Panther game days, the interior of the bowl will look like the stadium belongs to the Panthers rather than the Steelers. The signage and wall padding will be all Pitt.

Why cant we have a relationship like this with the Bucs?

Does anybody know if Pitt gets any of the parking or food money?

and I'm referring to a wrought iron gate that has symbols as part of the gate itself-- not just some stupid sign.

I disagree.  Universities will work to expand the options for their fans... and realize the extra cash they can make off beer sales.

It will be an NCAA rule that has been slowly implemented by the organization. It has started with advertising and will eventually work its way into the games.

I would say there will be a lot more about this rule in by late 2008, but it is coming. Trust me.

It also helps that they share similar colors and 'Pittsburgh', so it makes transition between college and pro games almost seamless.

The Glazers wouldn't even let us put up a plaque honoring First Team donors who helped start our football program and only relented after media and public presssure forced them to relent.
