Looks like DePaul outdueled us today... errors are killing our great pitching... not sure if Cristi Ecks got injured, but she was pulled after one inning today in the second game. The girls have me worried. We have a ton of talent... I just wonder what the magic number is for us to ensure a tourney birth. I believe when it comes down to it... Ken will go with his top pitchers come tourney time (Mosch, Ecks, then Spence). However, all the girls are getting a lot of time on the mound. We have some solid bats... but will our hitting be silenced when a dominant pitcher steps on the rubber like when we faced UCLA last season? I've changed my prognosis from a possible SCWS birth to a Sweet 16 candidate. Let's hope we hit a nice run of wins against some quality opponents. We hung tough against the #17 team in the nation... but if you think about it... we were in the final 16 last season. We should at least take one of two from DePaul. Come on girls!!! Let's get it going.

i was expecting big things from ladies this year

but they can still go on a nice run
