I had to run out to Vegas for work this week and made a swing by the Sports book at the Mirage and noticed that the Bulls were listed in the Teams to win NC and not in the "field". They were at 300-1 and the lowest odds but not all teams were listed and the only non BCs team was Boise State so I consider this progress and if they win I get some money about $300,000. Go Bulls

I was told I was not the first to put money on them at the Mirage also.

FYI... we could go undefeated and not be in the BCS championship game.  You just threw away a grand.

Would have been better off donating that to USF athletics an getting the write off in the process.

I was in Vegas last year on Cinco De Mayo, and I noticed that USF was not listed. So, I am glad that they are now listed even though the odds are 300-1. Thanks for the info.

Although I don't disagree with the odds of the Bulls going undefeated, if they did, having started in or near the top 25 and having beaten two top 10 teams and a likely 4 total top 25 teams, the odds of not going to the national championship would be very low, not to mention another BCS travesty.

point of clarification- I have not been to sleep in 2 days so math is off I put $100.00 on the Bulls and do donate already. By the way I was an accounting major. I know the odds of them winning is slim but was just happy to buy the ticket with their name on it and was worth the Bill to have it IMO. sorry for the math confusion have slept now and see the error.

Ok, 100 is more reasonable!  

Still I think 300 to 1 is probably favoring vegas.

There is no way the voters would vote us into the championship game, even if we were undefeated.  It takes consistency over a period of time.  You won't see a newcomer, even in a good league, have a chance until they' been to a bcs bowl or two first.  

If we went undefeated, and were the only undefeated (which is highly unlikely), MAYBE.  If there are other undefeateds... we have just over 0% chance.

I hope we are in the situation to whine about getting shut out of that game this year
