I really wish I could have been at last night's game, but i will be there against Rutgers!  

As for the Greek thing...I tend to agree that the majority of them don't care much about USF athletics, but I'm not so sure it is because they are Greek.  Further, you cannot generalize all Greeks together or even by their chapter.  Individuals will make their own decisions.

That blue and gold frat at the Michigan game was sickening though.  It was like "wtf were they thinking when they did that"

I agree with everything this person just said. way better than my diatribe. Ok i seriously have to go read a book now. I really hope everyone has a good week. I (and my students) are really upset about the VT shootings. There ARE things in life more important than debating why greeks dont come to games. I think the VT shootings are a good example of that. bye.

Triple - The King vs The Superstar match ups is what changed the world of TV wrestling.  They had one of the first NBC bouts that helped launch that form of entertainment.  The two were actually tag team champions for a number of years and then squared off for the singels title a few times.  Their infamous bout launched the gore (fake blood) movement in wrestling.

Andy Kauffman was years later and just another ploy to get TV more involved.

By the way, I quit watching TV wrestling when I was like 11.

Seriously, you are scaring me with your wrestling knowledge.  No really scaring me.

On the greek vs. GDI isssue, several members of SBC also belong to greek and other student organizations.  As one of the staff overseeing SBC, I can say SBC will openly welcome any one interested in sharing their passion for USF Athletics in a responsible way, setting an example of how to cheer for the Bulls while being respectful of all student athletes, coaches, and fans(that excludes people that get thrown out of games by the officials Omni  ;D).

Every group has their good and bad apples, if you haven't figured that out yet, you will eventually.  SBC will hopefully have the opportunity to have a higher profile on campus next year growing into a tremendous group.  SBC is not an official student organization, so they get hurt by the rules in some ways and benefit in others.

Anyways, come out and support the Bulls this weekend.  Have a nice day (Jon Bon Jovi).

Having grown up on wrestling, specifically Champion Wrestling from Florida, I'm embarassed to say that I had never heard of that Superstar before you posted it. The only Superstar I remember was Superstar Billy Graham. I do vaguely remember NBC broadcasting some national matches after I stopped follwing, I thought, and I assume that's the form of entertainment you're talking about launching... nationwide wrestling tv broadcasts.

The "crimson mask" movement in wrestling was launched way before Lawler and Dundee... at least, down here anyway.
