Kicker, tried out for walk ons last night (before the game). The kid hit a 64 yarder. He turned down a schollie to FIU for soccer. His dad is ex big leaguer Dave Martinez (Cubs, D-Rays). I hope CJL gives him a look.

I remember seeing his name on a few recruiting lists.  I thought he was going to UCF... guess walking on with us is more appealing  ;D

Some of his teammates from CHS (my h/s) were behind me. They said he didnt recieve a D1 offer for football, he had a few 1AA schools offer him as a kicker. And as I stated above a D1 soccer offer he turned down.
