Where was Carlton Hill?

Maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but did anyone see him on the field tonight?  I'm just wondering where he'll end up when it's all said and done.  Based on Gregory's performance today, I think they should try Hill out again at QB.  I wasn't impressed with Gregory.  He had a good arm, but he got "sacked" a lot and didn't make good decisions when pressured.

I remember reading something about him getting his AA before being able to enroll at USF, thus not signing until he qualifies.

Leavitt also said that if Carlton Hill returns to the team this fall, he doesn't expect him to play this season, but rather to use his redshirt season, which would give him two years of eligibility left for 2008-09.

I believe Greg had mentioned several times that as a college recruit you only sign a LOI once.  There is no LOI for transfers.

Carlton Hill is not at USF this spring. He left Pearl River after the fall semester, intending on taking classes at Hillsborough Community College, but USF's coaches had him just sit out the spring. To return to USF, he need only show academic progress, and had he taken classes at HCC and not fared well, he could lose that progress.

Again, I haven't seen him all spring. I'll check up on things. Leavitt had said this week that if he did return to USF this fall, he would use his redshirt season, barring a rash of injuries. The Bulls aren't expecting him to play in 2007.

I dont know, maybe his email is still there from before? But as far as I know he is still at Pearl River, I dont remember the reason why he didnt sign a LOI.

He doesn't have to he is already officially in USF
