The Bulls won today with another strong pitching performance from Chris Delaney.  By my count, he is now 8-0 on the season.  Delaney went 8 strong innings giving up four runs (three earned) on 6 hits.  Villanova kicked it around on defense with 5 errors helping the Bulls to five runs.

USF is now 26-11 overall and 9-5 in the Big East.  Game two of the doubleheader and the rubber game of the series will begin in about 30 minutes.

Need a strong outing from Matt Quevedo and those bats need to WAKE UP!!

And Sanford came in to record the last two outs and earn his 10th save of the season.  Bases were loaded full of Wildcats to end the game.  Lelo might be getting some grey hairs in Philly.......... :-?
