Those are the only chances we have of the field representing USF at RJS this year... for WVU on 9/28 the Bucs play at home on 9/23 and don't return until 10/14... and for Louisville on 11/17, the Bucs have a bye on 11/11 and play on the road on 11/18

If I were to want it be any two games (well, besides Homecoming) those would be them.

Man, you are quick - didn't the NFL schedule just come out?

Since WVU is a nationally televised game, expect that one to have the field painted for USF.

He was pretty quick.  I was looking up that info when he posted this.  Sucks we won't have any paint for the UCF or UNC games.  Don't count on homecoming as the Bucs have a game the next day.

Mutt,

As much as I agree with you, I don't see that happening for every home game.  Do you?

See you Saturday night at RayJay

For USF Home games...

Week 1 - Elon @ USF; Houston @ Tampa Bay -- last preseason game, probably on Thursday night, USF could paint the field as the Bucs open the season on the road

Week 4 - North Carolina @ USF; St. Louis @ Tampa Bay - 1:00pm game, so expect the fresh Bucs colors that night

Week 5 - West Virgnia @ USF (Fri); Tampa Bay @ Carolina - as noted earlier, could be a chance for USF to paint the field, national game on ESPN2

Week 7 - Central Florida @ USF; Tennessee @ Tampa Bay - another 1:00pm game, fresh Bucs colors on the field

Week 10 - Cincinnati @ USF; Arizona @ Tampa Bay - another 1:00pm game, no USF colors for Homecoming!

Week 12 - Louisville @ USF; Tampa Bay @ Atlanta

Elon might have USF painted at midfield, but no chance for the end zone... remember the field coming up against Rutgers in the end zone last year... they won't have time to do anything other than the white paint with a logo over it with a Bucs game 2 nights before that

I was just working on this info...

You beat me to it...

UL and WVU (strong possibilities) and Elon has a slight chance.

If things go well, you can bet that UL game is going to be on tv somewhere. Those are our two most important Big East games, so I wont complain (too much) if they paint it for those two.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
