Screw the lightning!  What would you rather watch, a team that goes down 6-0 against the freaking Panthers by 5 minutes into the 2nd?  Or a game where USF is GUARANTEED to win?   ;D

It's an away game at least.  I am a die hard Lightning season ticket holder, but will be DVR'ing the Lightning game.  Hopefully nobody comes up and shouts out the score while I'm there!!!

Well schools like Florida and FSU draw large amounts of fans from Tampa and I bet Florida has over 40,000 on Saturday.

I just think that USF has more of a casual fanbase, which may hurt.

Casual fan base and pro sports.  

It was reported that Florida had 58,000 a couple years ago.

I know, I am a huge hockey fan and I agree that the NHL (and college) playoffs are the best, although watching the Devils is like watching paint dry.  If it were a home game I would most likely pass up the Spring Game.  But then again, this is the most highly touted class in USF Football history thus far, and I need the tailgating practice too.
