The SEC wouldn't dare go more than 4 games deep with this.

Could you imagine Ole Miss versus Syracuse, or Georgia v DePaul.

Top to bottom, it would be 7-3 every year.

Vandy was good this year. I don't expect them to compete year in and year out. They're the harvard of SEC. Arkansas would be decent. Big East-16 teams? that right? SEC has 12 teams.

I just cant wait until Coach Heath gets USF on a higher level, so that we can hopefully get a match up against UF in the future.

So I think if USF has a much improved B-Ball season this year, we could see USF vs Arkansas in the BE/SEC invitational in 2008!! That would be a highly talked about matchup, don't you think?

They picked some weird matchups... think about who isn't in there yet. They left a lot of marquee teams out there for the future.

SEC: Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Vanderbilt

Big East: Louisville, Syracuse, Marquette, Notre Dame, UConn

There was a mention of Florida and UConn in Gainesville in the Sentinel last week. I'm guessing that game ties in.

Florida/Louisville - the student vs. the teacher!

Tennessee/Syracuse - an orange throwdown!

Kentucky/Notre Dame - two pretentious, overrated schools everyone loves to hate!
