I like his attitude, and I can already tell he's a better PR guy for himself than the previous regime.

You mean he's more like Seth.....   ::)

What's his history with Brett?

I think it just goes back the last week .... BM trying to find out what was going on.

What's his history with Brett?

When Brett was called to ask questions, CSH starting laughing... "Oh, hey Brett"

He called him relentless.

I ordered the yearly pass for $79.

It's a good deal.  I just finished watching the highlights of the footbulls.

Seth was definitely a PR guy.  That's how we got involved coming out to the games.  We never used to go, but he got in front of us somehow, pumped us up that basketball games could be fun and we started delivering about 20 people a game every game when I was there back in a day.  He was right, it was fun, but we got slaughtered on the court most nights.

If a guy can promote like Seth but also recruit and now being in the Big East; this thing might just get out of the gutter and be respectable.

The good thing about basketball, you can go from crap to gold in one year the teams are so small and two guys can dominate a game.  So there's definitely reason for optimism.

He basically said

- This is a great opportunity

- USF has alot of potential

-"We're going to win. We're going to win soon". He claims he doesn't think there is going to be a 3-4 year rebuilding window. He says he will make things happen next season.

- "We're going to play pressure basketball" "in your face"

He's either a good faker, or he's truly excited about this opportunity. He seems to have alot of energy, is well spoken, and a motivating speaker.  I dont know much about basketball, but I think I like this guy.

Pressure basketbal!!

Reminds me of the 40 minutes of hell days of another ex-Arkansas coach.

I never understood why a coach doesn't use the pressure defense a lot during a game.

I never understood why a coach doesn't use the pressure defense a lot during a game.
This is a risk/reward approach, if a team beats the full court pressure it typically leads to an easy basket, thus, this type of pressure defense is best used by a team that is deep and can keep their players fresh so that late in a game when the other team is fatigued they will make mistakes when pressured full-court.  Further, a team has to have speed at every position on the court to effectively employ full-court pressure.  Therefore, the use of full court pressure hinges on bench depth and speed and not all teams have these elements.
