What 5 things do you like about this hire?

The commitment shown by the athletic department;

His ability to recruit BigEast-level talent;

That he was unjustly fired and has something to prove still;

Arkansas fans saying how good he is;

The hiring process went as successfully as it could have :o.

Was he the best candidate out of the bunch -even Grant?

No question.  If Grant does as well at a big school as Heath did, then we'll talk about Grant.

What worries you?

Fan support for hoops at USF.  Players don't like to come to programs where they only play in front of 5,000 people and half are rooting for the other team.

How do you feel about the men's bball program now?

BigEast tourneys are a given(though, I wouldn't expect it next year), there aren't many teams in the BE with better coaches, fairly confident that most fans(darksiders) will give the guy at least 4 years to work his magic.

What would you like to say to AD Woolard?

"Where'd cheese go?"

5? how about 2

- Big enough name to get respect in the BBall world.

- The fact that USF can afford to pay in 5 years what Kentucky will offer Billy Donovan for 1 year.

meh. not sure I am the right person to judge this... but it comes down to return on investment.  A lesser-name coach from a smaller school might have cost less and been able to do almost as much.

What worries you?

We're still USF basketball.  It's not like recruits are pounding down the door to come here.  It may take longer than we realize to put the pieces in place.

It's still basketball, so not that much better than with CRM.  The proof is in the pudding, as it were.

What would you like to say to AD Woolard?

Good job, as most of us knew it would be.

-Recruits well

-Has a chip on his shoulder

-did I mention that he RECRUITS WELL!

Certainly the most proven

Will Tampa support a winning basketball program at USF?

Headed in the right direction

Ice veins - great job.  If this works out as well as it looks, he will earn the position of Best Ever Bulls AD.
