I heard Ford is only performing mediocre. Can anyone confirm or refute this?

From what i hear its flashes of brilliance but hes still a ways away from being what was advertised.  Mediocre would be a good way to describe it but he does show flashes of greatness.

you people take message boards to seriously, there are more important things in life then letting someone get under your skin on an internet message board, especially from someone you will most likely never meet in person

A lot of us do meet in person at games, tailgates, watch parties, etc.  It's always better to present a good image than a bad, whether you meet in person or not.  Being a jerk on the board almost certainly renders one unable to meet or to produce a "live body" if you know what I mean.

We will have some board get togethers in the future.  I've been thinking of one at Homecoming, but don't know if we hit critical mass yet.  

Anyway, be thoughtful on the board, you never know - not only might you meet the person you're insulting - heck, you might already have met him/her at a USF function.  We used to have a rule about Bull on Bull attacks - but those seem to have gone out the window as we grew larger and it became less a place of Bulls that did know each other.  It's become more anonymous (always a license to be a *****) but hopefully future meetings will reduce the anonymity and improve the Bull camaraderie at TheBullsPen.

Even if Ford isn't doing "super!", we've got until September before he has to be in great shape...

He's learning a new offense, played Tailback in I-Formation mostly(I think), learning about pass blocking, getting into college football shape(players are much faster now), he is battling backs that have been in the system for years(Williams, Ponton, Planchar & Samuels).

The good news, we should be seeing all four of the above in a couple weeks and of course against Elon to see who gets the start at Auburn.
