i dont blame him.  nba wants guys while they are young.  if he left arkansas he would have to sit out a year.  losing 1 more year he could be in the nba.

obviously he still has something to prove in college but he can do that next year at arkansas and go to the nba after that.  instead of just getting ready for his first season as a bull.

You're right.   He really thinks a lot of Heath though.

Altman is a good hire.  He really turned Creighton into a force during his tenure, so I believe he will do well at Arkansas. Looks like a win-win for both USF and Arkansas. Both programs wanted a change.

Lot's of people here weren't that excited about Altman's hire.   We were expecting a big name  - Gillespie, Self, Floyd, Calipari - all of which apparently said no.    But, from reading the Creighton boards, they all absolutely love Altman and are pissed cause he left.    So, we'll see.

I believed Altman's Creighton Blue Jays beat UF in the tourny during the 2002 if I recall. The same year that Heath had Kent St in the elite 8.

I think Ark believes they are a more heralded program then they really are.
