USF must like Auman & St Pete Times Better Than McMurphy & the Trib, it had to be someone from Athletics who leaked the info to Auman.

You do know that the St Pete Times pays USF $$$$$$ every year for the honor to be labled "the official paper of USF Athletics".

I would certainly hope that the St Pete Times gets SOMETHING (i.e. hot info) first...especially since they are the ones PAYING the freight (aka USF).

Welcome to the world of business.

They also get the right to market at games -- giving away papers in the hopes people will buy a subscription.  It's marketing for St. Pete Times - not paying for access.

the times also gave out those nice USF posters that I have on my door.  Sure, it's also an ad for the saint pete times but that's a small price to pay.
