For showing that issues can be addressed accurately and without being a *****, Alan Dell jumps to the top of the top of the list of reporters to read.

I still remember him last year whining about us supposedly not seriously recruiting a guard from down there when the guard spot, numbers wise, had pretty much already been addressed...

This is a nice article, though, and shows that when he's not emotionally involved, he can do a professional, unbiased job.

Alan is a straight shooter and enjoys covering the Bulls.  His other duties at the H-T are as the local high school sports writer, so its pretty natural that he thinks highly of area athletes.
