Coaching Search Has Been Disappointing

Do you have proof the sun will rise tomorrow AM?

I mean..chances look REALLY GOOD that it will..but is there any guarantee?

Yes, it's a statistical certainty.  I have thousands of years of data to support that assertion.

Ah...you fell for it.

You only have thousands of years of data/proof that it DID happen...but again...zero proof that the Earth and/or the Sun will be around by tomorrow morning.

Again...chances look real good, REAL GOOD, that the sun will rise up on the Earth tomorrow, but its still not "guaranteed".

The coaching search has been disappointing.

Sometimes I wonder if we even had a plan.

It seems sometimes like we are just walking around the country asking everyone if they would like to coach at USF..

Maybe taking resumes would have worked out better...

This thing hasn't been handled well.

Here's proof:

A) He was unemployed

So what? I think everyone is well aware as to the reasons behind why Huggins was unemployed. He will carry that baggage with him forever and that outweighs what he has done in  coaching. He has recruited suspect players in the past and that rend didn't improve much, if at all, while at Cincinnati.

He was a Coach of a program in the Big East

No, he wasn't. He was fired before Cincinnati even joined the Big East. Andy Kennedy and Mick Cronin have coached Cincinnati while members of the Big East.

C) Would of had a chance to play his former team at least ONCE every year

Wow, 1 game (maybe 2) a year out of 30? It wouldn't even matter since we beat them with McCullum as head coach twice, once when Huggins was coaching Cincinnati.

D) Probably the best proof: He ended up taking the only real offer he got last year for a school located in the wasteland of AMERICAN: MANHANTTAN, KANSAS!

Best proof? If he had only one offer, which it sounds like he did, then of course he would take it. The bottom line is that he was NEVER a candidate for the USF job. President Genshaft would never allow him to coach here.

I will say it again, should have got huggins when we had the chance.

And it will be said again, we NEVER had a chance at Huggins coming here.

Guess I don't know the exact reason you're saying that, but if it were purely as a college vs. college scenario of which one would be chosen by Huggins...pretty sad that USF would lose out to Kansas State.

we just beat out K state to keep cjl...our best coasching asset!
