Kawika signs with giants for 1 mill

It is my understanding Mitchell's agent really screwed this up.  He had a chance a while ago to extend his contract for $3 or $4 million per year but his agent was looking for upwards of $5 million per year.

Sometimes you just have to take a good offer and not worry about a great offer.

i think what they are planning is to take this 1 year deal as a bit of a risk but another solid season and he will be one of the most sought after free agents on the market.  look at some of the money thrown around this year (nate clement got 80 million for 8 years)  these numbers increase every year.  

its similar to what Rod did in jerry maguire.

Dang....I hate the Giants' jerseys.  I get jerseys made of Bulls players in the pros, even when they switch teams.  I don't really like the Chiefs jersey that much.  I might just wait out the Giants year and see what Kawicka does next.  I need to get a Thanksgiving Cowboys Henry jersey  and a Frank Davis jersey.  Hopefully JR sticks with the Falcons and Andre makes the main roster in Denver.  And then there is Snake.  Could be an expensive season.
